Imperial Deception is a two player otome strategy game, inspired by the villainess genre that has been going around in the manga and manhwa scenes.
Setting:
Saintess Ayanna and Rika Addington, the duke's daughter, both aim for the seat of the empress. Choose to play as either one against another player in a battle of wits, cunning and seduction. Recruit followers, send them on missions to influence your favorability with the four factions and get on the good side of the crown prince. Who of the two of you is the better schemer?

This is the story from the side of the Saintess! I have greatly enjoyed the demo! It had great potential and and I'm looking forward to the future full release.
Congratulations to the submission to the otome jam! Someone recommended me this game and it looks so good so far! Looking forward to the full release! I will say that the theme of villainess and saintess/heroine caught my eye quite a bit, though my favorite would be Mr. Narrator despite his shadiness, haha! To be honest, it would be the best if everyone can be happy in the end, for both sides.

The system of followers got me screaming a few times. Mostly when I lowered Leon's affection 😔 I’m terrible at maths and I end up doing awful choices shfjafhjk
I love Ayanna so much. She putting up a strong face in public and then snapping when nobody is looking is just so honest. Amazing girl. And I’m ready to meet Rika next.
The sprites are gorgeous and the CGs are awesome!
And just a little comment… mr. Narrator is so cool 👀👀 I'll be waiting for the next updates!

A very cool concept indeed :D I played alone because I do pretty much all of my gaming solo, but I still enjoyed it! Really love the vibes from Mr.Narrator :3 (Ayanna's hair is so pretty that I would just want to pick her every time x3 I managed to get a good ending, but then I guess it would likely be more difficult with two players. Interesting stuff anyways :D

Very cool concept! I really love how the 'Narrator' frames the story - defo wanna know more about him too! Also I LOVED the music!! I initially thought it might be difficult but I picked Ayanna and got the good ending on the first try so I'm happy with myself 😂 Definitely curious to see the full thing!

We're going to be continuing working on this project, so it's definitively going to have a more elaborate ending!
This is a great concept. I love the art, and Rika is so cool. But the ending was very abrupt so far.
